Atlas #1

Another title I hadn't realized was in solicitation. This is my first official monthly Marvel gig (in the past I just worked on one-shots, specials, and mini-series).

One of the things I'm loving about this book is how they're letting me step away from the traditional lettering style I've done on past books. Here I get to do these big round balloons, cut into panel borders, and use a much different font face than normal. Hope you dig it!

X-Files 30 Days of Night #1

D'oh! Didn't even realize a couple titles were in solicitation (I gotta get to a shop and pick up some Diamond Previews).

Here's a book I actually lettered towards the end of last year. I'm very happy to be a part of the creative team of Niles and Mandrake. Great, great talent! Can't wait to see what this looks like in final form.

Farscape #7

After Scorpius, I made Imboden pretty happy by lettering some pages for the next issue of Fist Of Justice, but now it's back to deadline mode with Boom. Just finished up the latest Farscape and waiting to hear what's next. While I wait, I see pages of Irredeemable and Incorruptible ready for sound.

On a completely different topic, sorta, I wish the iPad had Illustrator. That'd be pretty sweet to work on pages that way.

Farscape: Scorpius #1

I think this series is gonna be bigger than the regular Farscape series. But that could just be me since I always prefer the stories centered around the bad guys. Think about it, I prefer Irredeemable over Incorruptible so it's in line of my thinking.

Next up since my workload is pretty much caught up is some FOJ pages.

Irredeemable #13

Irredeemable is back after a short one month hiatus (because of the special). So now it's time for lunch. I'll make myself a sandwich and pull up my iPad and read some news. The USA Today app on the pad is mucho better than the one on the phone (plus being bigger type doesn't hurt it). The company that developed the interface really gave it some thought. I wish the magazine developers would come up with something just as cool instead of loading what looks like PDF scans of the pages. I'm sure it'll happen eventually.

28 Days Later #10

Ahhhhh... chipping away at the deadlines. 2 more major ones and I should be in good shape unless the next month's worth of books start rolling in.

Baron Von Shock #1

Just finished the first issue of Rob Zombie's new creation; Baron Von Shock. So I'm on track to finish what I need to do... still have 29 Days Later #10 to finish (half done already), then the next issue of Irredeemable, while still working on Diamond ads for Boom. I still haven't forgotten Fist of Justice, it just keeps getting pushed aside for the paid work.

Speaking of Fist of Justice, the series is now available on Apple's new iPad. I've seen the library screen for it and it looks sweet! Thinking about grabbing a iPad today if they're still in stock.

Incorruptible #5

Crazy busy. The thing that was holding me up was tax prep for my accountant. That sucked pretty bad. Every year I tell myself not to wait until the last minute, but it never works out. So in the meantime, projects were piling up. Finished this issue tonight and ready to hop on the next book in hopes of having it finished by tomorrow. Then tomorrow I have to finish up another book, plus some Diamond ads.
