New Exiles Annual #1

Picked up another cool lettering gig with Marvel last week. It's not just Chris Claremont behind the story, it's THE Tom Grummett illustrating this baby. I always dug Grummett's work so it was great finally slapping down balloons and SFX on top of his magic.
Turkey Day was great. I didn't stuff myself, as I've gotten older, I find it's just better to eat smaller meals, but a through-out the day. Hey, us old people pack on the pounds fast! Hah.

Bionic Commando #0

Picked up Bionic Commando and finished it tonight. It's a zero issue so it was a quickie. Also picked up a new Marvel gig; New Exiles Annual so I'm hoping to blast through that this week. Also have to start Hero Squared #1 and Pretty Baby Machine #2. That's on top of the fifty million trade paperbacks I need to composite and design.
Next month will be crazy with all these new titles and series I have to letter like Remnant, Farscape, X-Files, Prototype and others. Busy, busy, busy.

Warhammer: Fire & Honour TP

Just finished designing and compositing the next Warhammer trade. It'll take all night upload so I get to begin that in a few hours -- right after I finish compositing the Warhammer Omnibus!
Man, I got this huge list of trades I gotta have done before Thanksgiving. It's crazy, but I can do it. I'm a speed demon. Hah.

Farscape #1

One of my favorite TV shows of all time is now a comic book series written by the creator of Farscape; Rockne O'Bannon. This series picks up right after the mini-series The Peacekeeper Wars. So although the Sci-Fi Channel killed the show, it lives on in comic book form. And I gotta tell you, it's a good read. The characters act like the characters, talk like the characters, everything. Pick it up, you won't regret it if you're a Farscape fan.

Big Hero Six #4

Next issue is completed and the start of another crazy week for me. The kicker, in less than two weeks, I got Jury Duty so that's gonna mess up my whole flow of work. It was suggested by one of my clients that I should just go buy a MacBook so I can get some work done. Hey, you may laugh, but I think that's what will happen.
Next up: Farscape and a Warhammer Omnibus

Rest #2

I don't know if it's because I was just in the 'mode' or that bottle of JD sitting near my computer, but I focused on lettering Rest #2 and turned it in the day after I received the script. To top it off, I even laid out Big Hero Six and will have that sitting on Marvel's computer for Monday.
Flying. Maybe this whole mindset of dumping Digital Webbing Press is making me a speed demon now? Dunno. I know it's a huge load off my shoulders tho.

Never As Bad As You Think

Finished Kathryn and Stuart Immonen's collection for Boom! This book is printed in landscape format but I'm showing the thumbnail cover sideways. Hey, I'm anal like that, need my graphics all in an orderly fashion. Hah.
Now I'm off to tackle Big Hero Six.

Salem: Queen of Thorns TP

Finished and uploading the Salem trade paperback as I type this. Man, this is a crazy week. New stuff just got tossed on my lap so it looks like it's not slowing down. Stuff like the next issues of Rest and Big Hero Six, along with Farscape for next week, and the Russian translation for the Warhammer OGN.
Just got my numbers from Diamond for Fist of Justice #4 and Sword of Dracula #1 (both December releases). Fist of Justice is a book you're not buying, give it a shot, it may surprise you. We could really use the support on this one. Speaking of Diamond, I'm soliciting next week for March product. On the list is Sword of Dracula and the return of BloodRayne Prime Cuts.

The Remnant #1

I think Stephen Baldwin is one funny dude. I caught him on Celebrity Apprentice last year and wanted him to win. He was actually what kept me tuning in all season. So it was pretty cool to hear he dug the design and lettering work I did on his new comic book series, The Remnant.
Next up; Salem TP, Farscape, and E-Man! I gotta get E-Man outta here or I'm screwed.

Station TP

Finished another of many trades I need to put together before Thanksgiving. Yes, the cover images posted here are thumbnails, figured, if you really wanted to see the high rez covers, you can Google 'em.
I'm in the middle of The Remnant #1 right now and hope to have it finished before I call it night so I can tackle another trade that needs to be shipped off to the printer this week. So I'm off!
